Course Description

Employees' mental wellbeing is just as important as their physical wellbeing. This module aims to create awareness on the importance of mental health in the workplace.

'Mental Wellbeing at the Workplace' is an interactive course that is divided into three bite-sized e-modules. In this course, you will learn the key facts and details of mental health. The course identifies two common mental health conditions faced by employees by discussing their respective signs, symptoms and risk factors. It also addresses practical measures we can take to support those suffering mental health risks at work as well as to manage our physical and mental wellbeing in the workplace.

At the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Define mental health and mental illness
  • State common symptoms and risk factors associated with Depression and Anxiety Disorder
  • Identify ways to cultivate mental wellbeing in the workplace

Course Curriculum

1 Understanding Mental Illness

This module discusses key facts and details of mental health, as well as explains the contributing factors to mental health. You will also learn common signs and symptoms of mental disorder.


2 Depression and Anxiety Disorder

This module discusses common signs, symptoms and risk factors associated with two major mental health conditions faced by employees in the workplace, which are Depression and Anxiety Disorder.


3 Mental Health in the Workplace
20 Min

This module discusses Psychosocial Risks and explains ways to cultivate positive and supportive work environments. It also provides practical steps to manage pressure at work and to maintain and improve our mental wellbeing.
